From the God and Country Committee:

We would like to acknowledge Dr. Ronald Holz as a co-founder of the God and Country Concert, and in perusing this event’s history in the front of this program, his devotion and influence are obvious along with numerous performances by his ensembles over the years.

We also want to recognize the special significance of this weekend as Dr. Holz celebrates his Asbury University retirement. Last night he was honored by a special retirement Gala Concert with the return of many Asbury Alumni to recognize their former teacher and mentor. All those musicians join us today to including our extraordinary guest soloist: Mark Ridenour.

Ron, we wish you and Bea the very best life has to offer with good health, family, friends and beautiful music as you embark on new adventures. We hope we’ll continue to see you at future God and Country Concerts. God speed.[/message]
